Express 30 Owners
The intent of this site for EXPRESS 30 OWNERS is to bring together people from all over North America, but primarily around Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, who own, have owned or wish they owned a Goman Express 30 yacht. This wonderful line of racer/cruisers was manufactured during the mid 80s in Midland Ontario. They were accompanied by 20' and 35' versions too. Goman Yachts unfortunately stopped manufacture in the late 80s - a victim, like many other quality boat companies, of the ill-advised U.S. luxury tax, recession, lack of mooring space and sailing interest. The boats sail on, providing tremendous pleasure to their proud owners. As an owner myself, I feel that sharing information, knowledge, racing and good times with other owners is important. I managed to save a lot of data from the previous web site that went down due to a change of interest or lack there of. This data has been added to our site along with pictures and info from the 3 boats located at OYS in Oakville Harbour on Lake Ontario. All three boats are actively raced with excellent results and cruised too.
